How do you remove the plastic fuel line inlet to the carburetor. I have one on another carb and want to switch out broken one but no luck removing the old one. Cracked trying to pull over the brass knurled fitting in the carburetor. No luck trying to pry that out of the carb either. I am stuck. Book no help. Mark HDFX78.

Ain't that a fine how do you do? Damm! Well, looks like back to the drawing board. Maybe I can find a fitting and tap it. Thanks for the responce. Mark HDFX78

I've seen those replaced before. Harley part number 27594-76. First buy the fitting and then you just get ahold of the brass end that sticks out with vise grips and pull like hell or hit the vise grips with a hammer and she'll come out sooner or later. In a pinch I've just clamped the gas line over the brass stub.

Thanks, I was able to get that piece at the local shop. Was a mother to get out. What a system! Anyway all better now but ain't in a hurry to do that again. Mark. HDFX78
