Kuryakun tie down brackets for FLH

Kuryakun seems to have come up with a good solution for attaching tie down hooks to keep bike upright during ferry crossings and trailer trips. I have however chrome wind deflectors mounted on my FLHR. Not sure if there's enough threading under the acorn nuts to mount these tie down brackets on top of the wind deflectors. Anyone?
