My knowledge of sportys is somewhat grim but I have a friend that customized her leg and is about recovered as she is gonna be, the problem is she has begun riding again and has found it difficult and painful to shift.
She thinks it might be easier if she were able to set up a heel - toe shifter.
I know on a dresser the shift shaft is longer allowing for both front & rear shifters but the sporty won't except both shifters.
Can we change out the shifter shaft? Anyone have any ideas??
I'd be gratefulfor any assistance you may provide.

Thanks
Ric

This same question was asked awhile back.
The conclusion was to cut the shifter (toe-heel) from another bike and shorten it to fit.
After the modification is made, have it welded.
Best I can give you at this time.
I hope some others will chime in with other possibilities.

Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.
