Electric starter??

Might be a stupid question but...  Can you install an electric starter on a kick only Ironhead??  If so where can I buy a kit??

That kit is for 71-80  and to 67 with other parts , if you have 57-66 you will need to change case + kit

I just did one on my son's 78 you will need to add big battery, battery box, cover and strap ( only tray is in the kit ) and electric start oil bag and cap. Also starter ring gear if not already equipped. I think that is the last of the extras. If you get a good picture and break down of the kit and are not in a hurry can save some money finding it all used. Most of it is out there and then just fill in the cracks with new.
