leak in primary

have 83 lowrider that i changed to a chain primary. the chain is in a atf bath,now have a leak bad in the inner primary. wonder if it could be from what i had to plug to use bath. fitter. ps just came over from old to new. like new better. like to say hi to hillsidecycle. great motorwork.

Most times I think it's actually easier to remove the inner primary to seal it. You can replace all the old gaskets and seals at that time. You can get pipe plugs from a hardware store or Home Despot cheap.
