transmission top cover differences

In the latest parts and accessories catolog it no longer lists the chrome engine dress up package for the 2000 model year only 2001-2006 and 2007-2008. Looking at the parts individually it looks like the only part in the 2001-2006 package that doesn't fit a 2000 is the transmission top cover. Anybody know the difference between a 2000 and the 2001-2006 transmission top cover? Is it something I can make work?

If you click on this link http://www.tejasthumpcycles.com/Parts/chrome_kits/harley_Chrome_Kits.htm and scroll down, you will see that they list a 1999-2001 dress up kit as being all the same, at least for the FLHT's.

I gave a guy with an 03 the one off of my 00.
The netural switch wouldn't work right.....don't know if he ever got it working.
