Fitment question

I'm curious if a solo seat and pipes from an 01 sportster fit an 05

I don't know for sure, but an 01 seat might not fit an 05 - this based on looking in a parts catalog where seats are listed 88-03 and 04-up.  It looks like something changed in 04.

sorry, no to both (seat and pipes).  The frame changed in '04 to account for the rubber mount engine.
