am I getting some oil blowby past the guides?-or maybe past the rings?- normal? - just looking for a little advise- trying to understand what i'm looking at-

Run some seafoam in your fuel tank very now and then,
mist seafoam through the intake couple times a season.

That's a good picture, I've been looking for a mild port job and nobody shows their work, you would think they would post some pics like that.

Baisley has ported heads on 2 motors for me- have always been very happy with the results- I would use Dan again-

I'd say valve guilde seal.  Have you gat a ping problem?            Larry
