Hi,
I'm putting a  1982 80" shovelhead together and I need to know what the gap is for
the three rings? They are .030 over pistons.

TIA,
Roy

I run S&S pistons and follow their directions.  For stock I would have to get my service manual.

Over the years have done builds,,always folled directions from ring makers,,,a good rule of thumb is .003 per inch of bore.
