I'm not to up on what fits what. Is there a solid type wheel that will fit on the back of my 1987 FLTHC without to many changes?     Thanks, John B.

The 10 spoke cast wheel is the same for 87-99 year models. Part # 43299-87. That is all that is offered OEM besides the laced wheel. I suspect that an after market wheel is available in a solid type, but I can't steer you to it.

Thanks, JBarrettB, I'll check that out.  John B.

A fatboy wheel should go on with out any trouble,,you will have to check spacing to make sure wheel is running in center and rotors and pulley all line up.

Thanks stroker88, That would be a lot less cleaning etc.   John B.

The rotor for the FLH rear is different from the Softail/Dyna/FXR/Sporty rotors, and I don't think it will mount on the Fatboy wheel. Sure, the spacing issue is no big deal, but that is not the only consideration. Something else to think about. Personally, I would never use anything other than FLH wheels on FLH models.
