im in search of a rear brake for my pan. im running rear disk. not sure what the best brake to put on the back for the less spent. spending 400 on a rear caliper seems like a lot to me??

Have a look at what http://www.fabkevin.com has to offer using the Tokico Calipers

Pzokes

Fab Kevin's bracket is excellent, and the Tokina multi-piston caliper works great.

I think that a cleaner looking and cheaper installation is the late model Harley Softail caliper.  The 84-99 is single piston is very forgiving of misalignment.  The 00 and later is twin piston.  They need an angle iron bracket welded to the frame.  The caliper slides on this bracket with a rubber dampener on the side of it.
There's miles to go before I sleep.
