Jerite, that one is nice! When those wheels first came out, I did not like them, thought spokes were the only real wheels.
Now, I would love to set up my RoadKing with a set.
Nicely done.

Found 2 pics of my 69 FLH and then a few of my 78.5 FXE, both in various stages of modification. The formative years when kids make stupid mistakes. Oh well, can't go back but I miss them.

Had to split them up into 2 posts due to file size. Tried putting them all into one file but it's bigger than 350kb.

Thanks Hogman, was a pretty even trade. ...1974 bmw for a 1974 FLH. Had two sportsters, this is my first big twin. About 25 years ago went on a ride with my buddies who all had shovels. That was the first time I had seen a post seat.  From that moment on, knew I'd have one someday.

Just got my first ride, 84 XLH1000 Sporty. Loving every minute of it.
Don't know what all has been done to it. Will look into everything when winter
gets here.

showed this a couple years ago but the pic has been deleted or missing or?
so here it is again. 78 fxe but looking more like a fl.
the blue powder coating is what I chose to do for looks and to save money instead of re-chroming the wasted chrome bits.
