for some reason my primary is starting to smoke again its comming out the breather tube that sprays the mist on the primary chain any hints or tips would be awesome thanks

Sound like possible Bad Rings or a head gasket problem IMHO

I agree.  Somehow your combustion gasses are getting into the bottom end of the motor.

ya well i just put new rings in it its got 392 miles on it and it seems to be getting worse

  A misstimed breather gear could give some greif in the lower end,,,,does it do it if you are lugging the motor?  Was this the reason for the oringinal teardown?

well i thought the rings were bad cause it had low compression turned out to be a burnt exhaust valve but the motor aint been rebuilt since the 90's so it was time im pretty sure the breather gear is right its weird casue it didnt do it till about 250 miles into the rebuild

Could be a head gasket leaking combustion gas into the oil return galley.  What type of head gaskets did you use?  Did you make sure the gasket surface on the head was flat before you reassembled it?

im running james gaskets the metal ones with the rubber
