Starter issue

OK, having plunked down lots of money on a cam and etc... now my starter is now acting up (figures). Loud grinding noise. I had it rebuilt a few years ago, (stock starter). I am going to take it off this time. Should I rebuild or buy a new starter. And if new any suggestions.

We have installed several of the Ultima Thunderfire starters with excellent results. Only one failure in the past year and that went defective within two weeks and was promptly replaced. I recently installed a wrinkle black Thunderfire 1.4 in my 10.5 to 1 EVO FXR. Kicks her right over with no problems. Shop at Jireh or Eastern Performance, you can't beat the prices for a brand new piece either in chrome or black. Just check fitments as the larger KW starters can have clearance issues on some models. I also replaced and added an extra ground cable just to be on the safe side.
