JIM S NEW YORK

Considering replacing stock HD lifters this winter with a new set of Jims lifters. Engine only has 23,000 miles on it but I am running a high lift cam. (HQ .600 lift). I've probably been living dangerously with the stock lifters so it's time to change. Can I just swap out the lifters and keep the stock lifter blocks or do I have to change the blocks too.
Thanks for any opinions.

The stock lifter blocks should be fine unless there is unusual wear of somthing
very un-normal.  A lot of folks think the post 1998 or so version of HD lifters
are as good as any out there.  (so you could save some $$ there)
BTW  I did buy the little JIMS lifter block alignment tool to make sure my blocks were
aligned properly.
