replacing belt

 Ok  the inner primary is off, The front trans pully is off, the Andrews 30 tooth is ready to go on... I have the shorter belt to replace the oe cause looking at it there will not be enough adjustment soooooooh any tips for getting the belt off?  I have the service manual which has been a godsend to this point, was just wondering if anyone else has tips / shortcuts     thanks :pop:

Don't know what kind of bike you have but on my 98RK I had to drop the swingarm....
