I have a 1973 sporster with electric start. I was wanting to pull the starter off the motor. I am having a hard time locating the bolts that hold the starter to the motor. Any help would be great. Thanks Hardtail

I Believe If U Remove The End Cover, U Will Find Two Long Bolts,

I Think Their The Ones Holding The Cover Bracket.

They Go Into The Primary. If U Remove Them, The Starter Should

come Out.  Don't Forget to Disconnect The Battery Cables.

The bolts don't go into the primary.
They go into the starter housing. And be careful as those bolts hold the parts of the starter motor together.
Just what are you trying to do?
What is the end result you want to accomplish?

Thanks for the help, I took the 2 long bolt out and the starter came off. I had to take the starter motor off in order to put a new chrome cover on. Sorry it took so long to post this Thank you.
