Buell X1 speedo & tach on 2004XL

hello,

Since I found a nice speedo and tach comming from a Buell X1, I was wondering it that could be installed on a 2004 sportster.
The speedo shouldn't be a problem, there are calibrationkit's available at aftermarket supplystores, but would the tach be usable?
