Sonny, one more thought I have access to a dyno (get to use it for next to nothing) what do you thing about going to longer length rocker arms with Andrews 26's think it might gain me anything?

Absolutely !  26's are good for what you are doing...adding a little lift IMHO makes them better.




There is always at least two sides to every story ... I have a hard time with folks who can't understand that and just have to insist that their way is the only way. If it works for your goals and needs ... cool. If not, don't use 'em or try 'em. Seems fairly simple to me ... BWTFDIK :>)

bbqjmaki, yes sir, I know about welding the heads back up. I appreciate your response, sounds like your lucky enough to work in a machine shop. I’m truly interested in grooving, but my machine shop will be my kitchen…Lol. And I was planning on using a hacksaw blade and some fine files to do the task. Crude I know, but it is within my means.
