O2 Sensors on 2009 Sporty

Can the O2 sensors be removed?  What else has to happen to the bike besides a tune if you remove them?

May I ask why? You can remove them, have the bike tuned the conventional way and run it without the closed loop capability. You need a resistor of a certain size to close the open circuit. Dynojet sells them,

Not for me.  I have a friend that wants to buy a Thunderheader that does not have the O2 bung holes.  He wanted to know what he would have to do to make it run right.

You can buy the bungs and weld them on, just make sure there's room for the sensor to clear the frame, etc. before you do. Otherwise, as Viennahog suggested, you'd need to install a power-commander or similar open-loop tuning device.
