First off, I have my 07' 1200 sporty laid up for the winter.
In the spring I'm thinking of filling the chaincase with
straight 40w oil to quiet the noise on shifting.
Have been using Syn 3 in all the holes.
Any thoughts before I change.
I already know about Red Line and the such.
Just want to know about the heavier weight oil in the chaincase.
Thx,
Panzer
Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.

I've been using Amsoil 20-50 in my '05 1200C and it seems to work very well for me. Stage II and 20,000 miles.
