I have a 07 FLSTF(Fatboy) with 103 cast pistons, TTS tuner, SE A/c, Rinehart Dual Exhaust. Heads are stock with the ports,chamber cleaned up, stock valves, .030 head gasket.

I have a choice of 37 or 55 cams. Which will work better for this combo, and what kind of Tq/Hp can be expected out of each?

Thanks

The 55 cams work real nice with the 103".

Have you considered the Andrews 54H?

37H = 38 degree intake close
54H = 42 degree intake close
55H = 46 degree intake close

You compression is approximately 10.3:1.  That would be too high for the 37H.  The 55H would work well.  I run the same setup for compression with the SE251 at 46 degrees intake close and the CCP ended up at 200 psi.  Based on that I would pick the 55H first, the 54 if you want high ccp and not the 37.

I'd throw the 44H (41 Degree intake close) into the mix too...it would be right at home at that compression ratio and come on quicker than the 54H.
