Picked up a 98 S1 for kicks.
has force pipe, cv 44 carb, tons of extras, every HD update has been done, new rubber, and binders. Should be a fun bike to cruise around on.

Agreed.  It should be fun.  I regret not having a few extra grand a few months ago.

Well I have to say that it is a blast to ride.
Testing it out in front of the shop.  Not hammering on it at all just a quick flick of the wrist to get a 2nd gear power wheelie

Congrats on the new toy. Old Buells are great fun and be had for cheap prices. I have a 97 S1 and love it.

Yep, seems like the front tire on my MaDuece (M2) has lasted forever.

Don't hurt yourself. :bike:

Hooligan!   They are such a light weight package,   how long is it going to stay stock ?

I hope you enjoy the heck out of that thing. I used to have a 98 S3 and it was a hoot! It would run rings around my wife's 1200 Sportster. I wish I had never traded it off. Maybe I'll get another someday if I find a cheap enough deal.

Nice looking S1. I have a 90ci S1 and a basically stock S2T. I love mine and I am sure you will love yours. Steve
