when im comin to a stop and hit the throttle a little bit it wants to some times cough out of the air cleaner. would it be jetted wrong? thanks

yes, it could be.  Could be an idle air/fuel screw adjustment issue too. Could be a needle issue.  Could be an intake or exhaust leak issue too.  Could be a timing issue as well. I would try the a/f screw first.  turn the screw in till it stumbles (lean), then out till it stumbles (rich), then split the difference (I generally stay towards the richer side of that- out till it stumbles then back in 1 turn).  If it takes more than 4 turns out to make it stumble, go up a size in the pilot.  A 45 pilot should be enough though for your bike.
