1992 Speedo Drive

Im changing the front end on my 92 XLH to a springer (DNA) and want to run a 16" wheel up front. Im changing the tank to a Quick Bob, and Im wanting to lose the stock speedo on the bars and add an early FL style to the tank console. My questions are, will the stock type axle speedo drive work with the springer? And if I can, since Im changing from a 19" to a 16" wheel, can I just use a speedo sensor for 16" wheels?
