just put a supertrapp on my bike and it sounds like a honda rebel. what is a good performance pipe but also loud?  have a thunderheader but its for mids and i have forwards. maybe wantin to trade for a mikuni. thanks

The supertrapp is an excellent performance pipe and can be very loud if you want it to be.
Keep adding disks until you get the loudness you want.
Or fit an open end cap.

20 discs and an open end cap should do the job!

take the closed cap off of the Supertrapp and run an open end cap if you want it louder. 

you've found a Supertrapp that will fit with forwards on your XL?

took the end cap off sounds a lot better. but i only have 12 discs but plan on buyin another 12. talked to supertrapp and they told me that my pipe should fit forwards  and mids. had to make a spacer on the back to keep it from rubbin on the back brake rod. mounts on good though.
