Does anyone know a pistons with either a 6 or 8 cc total dome volume right out of the box. Forged preferred.
I am trying to set up a 95 ci build for someone and thought i would ask here.

Looking for a 3.875 bore piston for an 04 twin cam with stock 4 inch stroke.

Thanks.

Panheadred measured the SE Forged 95" pistons to be 8cc.  Full details can be found here:

Can we get this turned into a "Document" or "Sticky"
This quality of referance material is in short supply and gets spun when transferred from node to node on the net.

I agree Don.  Maybe we can get a collection of tested data all put togther on one thread and made a sticky ? or made into a document for the FAQ section? (PHR tested Wiseco's as well here: http://harleytechtalk.net/htt/index.php?topic=1944.0 )

I'll volunteer to make it a document if everyone can send me the information.

Well thanks. You know i read that thread with great interest and i forgot about it. That 8cc dome will be perfect with an .040 head gasket...
Another vote for a sticky if possible.

I have 10 cc dome forged piston that I sometimes machine down to 3 cc's and can do all he in betweens. I use this calculator for the different heads I like to use.

The subject SE forged pistons, (pn:22868-00), which Red has proven to have an 8.0cc dome, is rated as "9.6:1 comp. with Original Equipment heads, and 10.5:1 with the SE Performance Heads, (pn:16952-99B), in the HD SE Supplement.

Does anybody happen to know the cc volume of these "Screamin Eagle Performance heads" are out of the box?

Thanks, V1

S&S makes a 5.5 cc dome 95" Twinkie piston.

That's correct. Just checked a SE / Arias forged pop up 95ci piston: 8cc
Netherlands / Europe

YMMV
Your mileage may vary, on the SE Pro heads somebody reported a week or so ago they measured 82. I have measured down as low as 76cc, never as high as 82 though, haven't done any of the new ones -06 however.

Dewey,
Thanks.  I'm still weighing out my options on pistons for my build.
Good information I needed.
Thanks again.
