Brake Rotor Material

I'm in the process of building a shovelhead chopper.  At my work I have access to some exotic stainless steel material.  I want to make a set of brake rotors and was wondering if any knew if stainless steel would be a good material for the brake rotors.  The material I have access to and can get laser cut is Inconel 718 (ams5596) and 625 (ams5599). 

Would this work for brake rotors?  Any suggestions on other material that would be better?

Well most rotors are made from stainless if that helps.
