Local dealer has a new XB12STT.  Asking $6999.00.  Any ideas on what's it's worth and maybe what I should offer?

No idea about US prices but in the UK that would be gone. I was in Manscrewso's in Houston about a month ago and they had 3 1125 CR's in black for $7k a piece.
What can they do apart from say no if you offer $6k ? they may meet you half way.

Went back to dealer today over lunch.....he will take $5999.00 for the bike.  Out the door, including tax, title and tags will run $6700.00.  Seriously thinking about it now.

Forgot to mention, the bike is a 2007 but has never been titled......roughly 300 miles on the bike.

My XT was built May 08 I bought it new in Nov 09, about $4500 US off list with a $1500 custom paint job thrown in. You will almost certainly need a new battery, I did after a few weeks, I also had earth ( ground ) problems. just had the exhaust replaced under warrenty due to rust.
I think buells are fun bikes, I love mine but I can see why HD pulled the plug. They must have lost money on every bike due to warrenty work, and the bike were too expensive to start with. As soon as HD UK announced Buell was over they dropped the prices on the bikes in the dealers by about 30%, within about a week most were sold.
If you do buy it be prepared for wheel bearings every 5 to 10,000 miles and I'm told steering head bearing can go at 10K too.

Well after one full weekend with new bike, all I can say is that I'm happy.  Lots of fun!  Really glad I finally made the purchase.

Fun bikes aren't they . I had a quick 120 mile blast on mine on Friday to pick up some parts for a friends bike
