Just a question of interest....are the con rods forked as in other HD engines?

A usually-sure-fire way to tell is to note whether the cylinders are offset side-to-side any in the cases.  I'm thinking they are.

No they are a side by side split cap rod

Yes Porsche designed the engine, so finally HD has a "Modern," solid engine. Looks durable also!  I was amazed when the V-Rod first came out to discover HD could not design the engine them selves????     :scratch:

Maybe that was a good thing! :potstir:

thats why the T shirt I have that has "Harley Davidson, The Motor Company" on the back says Harley Davidson, The X-Motor Company"
