Oil line fittings in engine cover

OK 69 xlch i assume the 1/4 in stand pipe closer to the middle of the engine cases in the crank case vent so which 1 of the other 2 fittings in the engine case is the feed for the pump from the tank? is it the one closer to the rear cylinder or the one closer to the oil tank? :scratch:

the one closest to the tank is the feed---the one closest to the rear jug is the return and the vent is close to the center--that's the way it is on my '59 XLCH--my '68 XLCH has the feed going straight to the pump--hope this don't confuse ya--buy the manual :rtfb:
