Hows it going? I have a problem. My fork seals went and I put new ones in, but I don't :wtf: know the proper procedure to fill and bleed. I replaced the tubes also, (I bent the original ones) do I need to replace the springs and weird damper as well?  The bike is a 77 XLCR.   My FSM says to make a fork filler setup. But I haven't seen a metal funnel or a metal oil can for a long time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Salty, are You still out there?

You BLEED brake lines, not fork tubes.
If you had them apart then they are probably dry.
If an XLCR is the same as a XLH or XLCH, then you just jack up the front end, unscrew the fork caps, pour in the correct amount of (I believe type B) fork oil, then put the caps back on and your done.
