anybody have them?
am getting/been old and wore out...
body just isnt into kicking the stroker over anymore.
wondering what brand and any tips on  using/installing them.
the local machine shops will do alum heads all day long but are afraid of cast iron.
heads are ported by axtel from the old racing days and dont want to ruin them...

will releases actually make bike easier to kick?  sometimes on a kick the petal just stops mid stroke cause of compression.
i have a aftermarkett kick lever (stronger and longer).
have broken a few stock ones in my youth.
also have  the sifton gears on shaft and clutch.  have broke stock ones also..
sprocket cover welded and strengthened...updated kick start shaft and bushings.
its just a beast....and i love it..

depending on the year you have, you may want to consider adding electric start.Salty

button not a option.  1974 XLCH with belt drive primary.  no where to put one.
also would have to change out oil bag, battery and mounts, no ring gear on alum clutch...on and on..
not like i havent thought about it.  but when i built it S&S mentioned a elect start would not turn it over and one should weigh at least 200 lbs.....
