rear drive belt question

family member just bought bike 14k on it  aftermarket rims been making squeeling noise from day one belt broke today looks like somone shimed rear wheel with spacers .built a few engines on twin cams is replacng this belt fairy difficult or minimal time im going to look for misalignment issues first thanks .

The belts real easy to change, you don't even have to remove the wheel, just drop off the rear shock. You say it has had the wheels changed, is this a wide tyre conversion ? I've done two for friends, both came with off set front pulleys, both turned out to be aluminium and wore out within 15000 miles, so make sure the front pulley is good.
