  Personaly I would use the HD one from one of the online sales dealers !! They work and seal up good and come with a bearing and seal installed !! If you price the aftermarket chromers price and then the new bearing and seal then look at the way they seem to get done and how long it takes then compare the new one from online you will find the new one is just about heads up with the rechromed one as far as price not to say anything about the time elemet .

I agree that HD's chrome quality is really good and available from any dealer which is a bonus compared to sending your stuff states away and hope for the best. I know there are great chromers out there, just not as readily available like HD. Plus no down time and you can take it back for another one if there is a minor flaw, without sending it back.

PS- California is getting exceedingly difficult to find good quality chrome due to all the laws addressing toxic substances and wastes.

Browns, Chromemasters and HD oem are the only way to go. I have wasted tons of money in the past on about 5 other "motorcycle specialist" chrome shops. They all fell short. You want good or cheap....pick only 1....hahah....

Chrome that HOG is in Cali but just barely north of Tijuana, I have heard that they run their stuff to Mexico to chrome thus avoiding Calif Haz Mat issues
