San Mateo MC Show - Harley?

I was at the motorcycle show in San Mateo, Ca. this weekend and all the manufacturers had good displays except Harley.  They had a little 15' x 15' booth with an XR1200R and a guy handing out posters and that was it.  All the other manufacturers had big displays with most of their models on display.  What's that all about?  Buell had a decent booth with their bikes on display, but who cares about that?

My daughter is a biggie in corporate marketing for a big brand name for a big corporation. (That was pretty evasive wasn't it?) Read it as somebody didn't think San Mateo was a big enough marketing opportunity to throw a sizeable chunk of the budget at. If the marketing budget is squeezed by a crummy economy lower tier opportunities will be the first to reflect it. I'd consider it smart of H-D's decision makers.

HD was there putting riders on quite a few new bikes for demo rides though, that was very smart!!
