Hi guys
             smutley from OZ here  just about to change swingarm on my 86 FXST to a mid 90's swingarm just hoping some one knows will a 86 calliper fit a later model hanger, the early hanger  and caliper is a male bracket and the later is a female with different calliper so what i need to know  will early caliper fit later hanger or do i need the later caliper as well???

  Smutley,,,if you can go to a 99 and up swingarm. This will give you the TC 4 piston caliper, this is a common switch I do when building customs.

I figured there would some dimensional differences.

Do the late model swingarms fit early softail frames without any mods?

Will the late model shocks work too?
