a couple of months ago I noticed a slight amount of oil coming from my mainshaft seal.  Checked the seal out seems fine I think I am having breather issues with to much pressure in the lower end causing oil to force its way out.  Had a similar issue back in the day with my old 80" evo any suggestions?

If you are running an open belt get a new seal and install backwards.

Yes I am running an open belt, I did put a new seal but I did not put in in backward.  Just curious how does that solve the problem.

If running belt you also need to put sealer on splines before spacer  a small amount of oil will work its way down shaft between spacer and shaft. G

Open side does not create pressure to push the seal to seal, motor side will make seal seal backwards. May be wrong, but that is the way it works for me.

That seal also keeps primary oil from being suck into crankcase.  On the triple lip seals, 2 of the lips go out with stock install.
