Upsweep Fishtail exhaust pipes

I've been thinking about putting some upsweep fishtail exhaust on my 04 FXST(perhaps Paughco) just for the fun of it.  BUT, I have a couple of questions for those who may have done this already.  First, anyone have any pictures of these pipes on their bikes?  Second---in the "old" days when I was young and running my rigid panhead with these pipes, they were so close to the oil tank that they "burned" the chrome on the tank.  Is this still a problem?  Is the exhaust pipe so close to the oil tank on my TC that it will be a problem with the tank?  I realize that the turn signals may have to be moved to clear the fishtails, but are there any other problems that I should be aware of?  Thanks for any replies!!
