Roadking gas tank

I am replacing my 2004 Lowrider gas tank with a 2003 Roadking tank, both carb, other than a dash, what would I need to replace?  Will the filter/petcock assy. from the DYNA tank work in the Roadking tank?  I plan on getting new gauges and gas cap along with the dash, both HD, but don't know if the "inside" stuff will work.
