touring front end question

     Fork tubes   ........          Are the internal components  of a 2002   Road King   the same as a 2001 Electra Glide ?  Or  does the Road King have  the cartrige ? TIA ............bladerunner

Not sure about the EG but know for sure the 02 King's are not cartridge.. Just installed Emulators last Sunday. Max.

Pretty certain the 02 RK and the 01 EG would be the same. I just recently installed the guts from an 06 EG in my 05 EG and the improvement is significant. The 06-08 EG's have updated internals with emulators.

 Thanks  guys , I just installed  the race tech kit and chrome  sliders on my 01 E glide   , my buddy wants me to do his 02  roadking  ..and I don`t have the manual for that model....bladerunner

Bladerunner, it's the same as your bike, no cartridges in the Road King, Go for it.

The left fork cartridges were only put on the fairing models of the FL series and only from 2002-2006.
