A few months ago I picked up a clutch master cylinder for a hydraulic clutch. Got everything installed yeasterday and when  I attempted to tighten the banjo bolt it wouldn't tighten. Seems I bought a master cylinder with some stripped threads. If I had a banjo bolt about 3/8" longer I might be able to grab some good threads but I don't know for sure. Anyone know of a way to repair this puppy or am I pretty much just looking for a new one.

I found an outfit that sells a banjo bolt for HD's that is about .30 of an inch longer than stock. I'll give it a try and see if that gets it. If not then I guess I'm in the market for a new M.C. Oh,well.

I believe a helicoil would work fine as well.
