Top Ends

Hi - just a general question about the top ends from other manufacturers that look like an old panhead or knucklehead.

I like the look but am wondering how they are on reliability and so forth. I live in New Mexico and the spaces here are big and open, I don't want a nice custom look but it makes the bike unreliable.

I have a 2003 Heritage softtail and its coming up on  50,000 miles and I am looking at doing a little fun work on the bike then.

First thing I would check is if you can remove and install them without disturbing te motor mounts.

Exotic manufactures those thru CCI.
Tough to get most of the time.
