Wiring a VT 39-0599 digital speedo to an 01 Sporty

Good day All, making some changes to my 01 sporty, purchased a digital speedo and I'm having some trouble wiring it and could use some help. I was able to find a wiring guide for the part see attached, but can't seem to make any headway with it. My question is; is the pinning suggested on the guide for the stock connector?
