How about $5.00 cafe mirrors ?....Tapped and then welded metal slugs in the end of the bars...
Heat and beat the stems 90 deg and then reversed them. No more looking at my jacket...They work !

How about chain struts on a swingarm mounted fender...$5 + powdercoat and an hour ea. of labor...
Bent a welding rod to get the shape...Used non galv. steel chain from hardware store...
I nailed the chain to a 2 by 4 to match shape on welding rod..Stick welding...
It took the most time smoothing the welds with a grinder - sander...
I would say it is a very small tribute to Indian Larry...R.I.P. and it looks tough...
