I have a friend who has a  1955 frame . All the mounts and casting are on it . He is thinking about selling it , but don't know how much to ask. The question is what is a good price for it ?

I paid a months rent for a straight leg once. Certainly it's worth more than an aftermarket. Might check what V-Twin is asking for re-pops, and go from there.

A top quality repop from Australia will set you back $4,000 plus shipping. If.the frame is truly original and in A-1 condition, its worth a lot.

To get a top price on this, all the castings should have the casting numbers visible.  The top motor mount should have the date code visible.  The bottom rails should not be crushed.  But, right now the prices are down on everything because of the economy.

There's miles to go before I sleep.
