I recently got a 2001 Factory Screamin' Eagle Roadglide. The radio has an auxiliary input plug for an mp3 player etc. The owners manual shows it, but says it is not used. Anyone know of a way to activate it? Also seem to occasionally get charging system whirring in the speakers. Does Harley use any kind if suppressor like we use to put on car alternators?

Thanks, but I tried that first thing. It only scrolls thru cd (it has a 12 disc changer), am, fm and weather radio and doesn't recognize anything plugged in to it. It also has a cassette player built in, but that doesn't show on the scroll either. It just selects it when you put in a tape. Don't know why they put the plug there if it isn't used.

It should show up if you have plugged in a working (turned on) device.
