I had a local shop put a new oil pump on my 82 FXR, 93".  Billet pump from Vulcan Machine.  Bike runs fine but as it warms up I get an  oil fog, from the back of the bike.  I mean it is really bad.  Don't know if is exhaust or vent tube.  Shop is out of business and now I wish I had put the pump on.  Feed and return lines seem to be on in the correct manner.  Ideas?  Thanks

Oil fog as in SMOKE? Might not have anything to do with the pump.

Wonder if it's the pump causing this...not to likely if the lines and vent/s are in the right place.  Sounds suspiciously like a leaking head gasket or a worn breather or breather cavity allowing oil to get by.  Might do a leakdown test to check for a leaking gasket.  Only way to check the breather is to pull the cone and have a look.
