Happy new year to all from a somewhat depressed England..Is it worth while polishing the inlet ports on a shovel. or does it reduce turbulence do you think ?...Rich..

  DO NOT POLISH,,,you are correct it does reduce atomization...Over the years I have polished exhaust ports,combustion chambers and pistons....I have heard good and bad on polishing chamber as far as carbon release(peels off in big peices)..The polishing the pistons was my idea of keeping carbon from building up...it did work....If lookin for something to mess with you could shot peen and polish the rods or polish wheels and cases inside.
