     Ebay bike looks nice, but I think the price is a little high.  I used to have a bike just like it only it was blue.

Yeah... I think the FLH is a bit pricey too.  But it has a few things going for it.  Super clean, low miles, and this is the big one... it looks almost 100% original.  If he finds someone with money to burn he might get that price.  A super clean original bike is always worth a lot more then a restored bike.

   I thought they had a 1936 knuckle with total lose oil system  and then in '37 went to a general leaking but not total lose oil system?  My buddies had a '37 we worked on and rode for almost 7 years til I let him ride my '72 fl and he went and traded it on the smoother ride.

All the big twin primary chain oiling systems were total loss from 1936 to 1964.  But the engine oiling was never a total loss system... at least not for 1936 and later.

I thought the oiling system was total loss untill they built the Evo. At least that is what my bike looks like after following my buddy's shovel for a while!
